Welcome Back, Bobo. I, for one, am excited to re-live the days on "Ed" when we would all sit around the office listening to you, and waiting to hear our requests. That, and harass you via instant messenger to see if we could break you.

Thank you Mr. Producer and a big round of applause to you for all the work you've done on the big show.
Among the other things I've mentioned above I'd really love to get new station ID's from all mafia members. All you have to do is really whatever you want, just make sure it's short and mentions either Ithaca Mafia and/ or WIMR. Most folk have built in mics on thier computers and can easily record files and then send them to me. If anyone seeks help on this or anything contact either Kluv or myself and we'll help you out. You can get mics that connect to Ipods for easy "on location" reporting.... I'm looking for anything that will make this show groovy. Finally, I've carried over the Autobots Opening theme to the new show, and I love it. That said, I'd love to hear a brand-spanken new opening theme song. It can be of any genre, just cram in our title and as many specific mafia related things...names, sections of the board.... Duck........ |

Yeah, I completely forgot that old song I made back then -- it was from a free sampling program that came with the soundcard I got for my old computer...
It has held up, if I do say so myself. |

 First off, huge public thanks for the kickass art. Mr. Producer I thank you. This sounds a lot more like it. Now just to adjust the mic a bit and add an opening theme.....well maybe next week. No thanks necessary, BTI -- glad to help out. With everything going on last week, forgot to tell you I dug the first episode muchly. (Particularly liked the BB King & "Pay to the Piper".) Listened to the beginning of Ep. 2 on the way in, and you've already upped your Audacity chops. Bravo, sir!
Look forward to this rumored new theme music next week. I'll see if I can come up with a few requests, and, hopefully, manage to record you a few new station ID's as well. The Sexy SoCo one kinda freaks me out a little bit. |

Thanks on Ep 1 but yeah Ep2 is a slicker machine.... I believe there is also a plan in the works to go remote to the JC Dinner for Ep 4...... ....well thats what I heard |

Monday Morning, it's pouring outside. Cold and nasty, I pop in my headphones to listen to the new Podcast.
- Sweeter than sweet new intro by Duck. Puts my old piddly one to shame, and rightfully so. - Quite possibly your finest set to date, Bobo. Great mix of music -- Jet Plane was perfect for the rainy walk, the Mel Brooks bit had me laughing as I got on the train, those kids (Spas & Birum?) were actually quite funny, and your post-set witty banter was spot on as well. That, and the fact that I finished my wet walk to work on "Drown" -- made it that much bettah. Keep up the good work, WIMR. |

Hollywood Duck's intro is pretty damn good and the beauty is we get to keep yours as well. "Hey you put your chocolate in my peanut butter..."
I love John Denver's Leaving On A Jet Plane but there is something in Chantal Kreviazuk's cover that makes the melody hit home with me. Plus she's not unattractive.  The 2000 Year Old Man bit, which Carl Reiner & Mel Brooks have been doing for a looong time never gets old to me and the concept is such that it never runs out of gas.  It's been great to be able to check out Sperm's quote of the day and Ire's lyric to find material. I had almost forgotten about this Smashing Pumpkins song until it was posted and you requested it for the show. haunting...  I'll do my best to handle folks requests in the future and Kluv enjoy the rest of the show. |
